Prayers And Confessions For Another

List Two

Father, give ________ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that he/she may know You better. I pray that the eyes of _______ heart may be enlightened so that he/she may know the hope to which You’ve called him/her, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparably great power for ________ who believes. That power is like the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted IN Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand, far above all rule, authority, power and dominion.

As for ________, he/she was dead in his/her sins, in which he/she used to live when he/she followed the ways of this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air. But because of Your great love for  ________, You - who are rich in mercy - made him/her alive with Christ, even when ________ was dead in transgressions. It is by grace that ________ is saved. You raised ________ up with Christ and seated him/her with Jesus in the heavenly realms so that You might show the incomparable riches of Your grace, expressing Your kindness to ________. He/she is Your workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, that he/she may do those good works which You predestined for him/her, taking paths which You prepared ahead of time, that he/she should walk in them - living the good life which You prearranged and made ready for him/her to live.

Ephesians 1:17-23, 2:1-10, 3:16-21, Acts 27:25

I pray that out of Your glorious riches You will strengthen ________ with power through Your Spirit in his/her inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his/her heart through faith. And I pray that ________ will be rooted and grounded in love, and have power along with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that ________ may be filled to all the measure of the fullness of God. Now to You Who are able to do immeasurably more than all I ask, think or imagine, according to Your power that is working in me, to You be all the glory forever and ever. I say it shall be for _______ as God has spoken!

May grace and spiritual peace (wholeness) and undisturbedness and harmony and unity be ________ from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ. I declare that You, oh Lord, have blessed ________ in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. I say that ________ was chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world and is Holy, consecrated and set apart for Him, blameless in His sight, even above reproach before Him in love.

I pray that ________ knows he/she has been destined by God’s love to be adopted as His own child through Jesus Christ, and that ________ knows in an experiential way that God has freely bestowed His glorious grace, favor and mercy on him/her. He has also lavished on ________ every kind of wisdom and understanding, practical insight and prudence, making known to the mystery of His will.

I pray that ________ may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom, in comprehensive insight into the ways and purpose of God, and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things, that ________ may walk and live and conduct him/herself in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in the knowledge of God, with fuller, deeper and clearer insight, acquaintance and recognition. I pray that ________ may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, with all endurance and patience, perseverance and forbearance, with joy.
