I Walk In Love

Jesus said: “A new command I give you, that you must love one another, just as I have loved you, you also must love one another.”  I choose to walk in God’s unconditional love, a love that doesn’t judge or condemn, a love that doesn’t keep a record of wrongs, a love that isn’t touchy, fretful or resentful,  a love that thinks the best always, a love that stays in that positive faith flow! I have been freely forgiven, so I freely forgive!

I choose to love my brothers and sisters in the Lord, so that all men might see that I am a disciple of Jesus, and that I might please Him.  I hate strife and division and will have no part in it. I will not partake in gossip and I refuse to listen to ill will spoken of others. I guard my heart with all diligence.  I put a watch on my eye gate and my ear gate. Love defends!  I only speak that which builds others up.  I put on love.

The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit.  It fills my inner being.  I have been given a love transfusion by the Holy Spirit.  My love is patient and kind.  I am never envious nor do I boil over with jealousy. I am not boastful or proud, nor am I conceited or arrogant.  I do not insist on my own rights or my own way, for I am not self-seeking.  I pay no attention to a suffered wrong. I do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but I rejoice when right and truth    prevail.  My love bears up under anything and is graceful under pressure.  I think no evil, but I believe the best of others.  My love covers an offense and doesn't spread an evil report.   My Father’s love is in my heart, so I am not rude, nor do I act unbecomingly. I am the son/daughter of the King! Faith works by love, and since the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love, my faith is working and the devil cannot touch me! Love never fails, so I never fail!     John 13:34, 35, 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8; Romans 13:10; Proverbs 4:22, Galatians 5:6; Colossians 3:14
